I'm trying something new for this week's giveaway, so please play along so I don't look like a total goof...
I'm sure you're all on pins and needles wondering what this great giveaway will be.
So, without further ado...
I love quotes.
I know, shocker.
There are lots of quotes that I love because they make me giggle.
I totally identify with other quotes.
Others I love because I find truth in them.
And others, are little snippets of longer talks or quotes that encourage me to be better.
So, I want to know.
What makes you laugh?
What do you identify with?
What is truth to you?
To participate in the giveaway,
you need to leave a comment with your favorite quote,
scripture verse, short poem or anything else that inspires you.
Feel free to leave a little note about why you love the quote.
You can enter up to three different quotes
because I know how hard it is to choose one.
Be sure to leave three separate comments.
What the winner wins...
I will take the winning quote and create a design layout for the winner.
The winner may choose to have the vinyl cut so that they can create a finished product
or I can create a finished product with the quote on a 12" x 12 " tile or 8" x 24" painted board.
The winner will be announced on Friday, April 22nd.
You have until midnight on Thursday, April 21st to enter.

"If ye love me- Feed my Sheep"
I love this scripture because it can be interpreted in so many different ways or used in so many places i.e. the kitchen 'feed- literally' or living area 'feed- as in do charity work' or a play room- reminding us that our children are the "lambs of god"
Awesome! I have been wanting to have this made for our bedroom....
"I love my house. I love my nest. In all the world My nest is best!"
"Protect us from all ANXIETY"
"Godchildren make your heart happy." Have this in a small frame but I keep saying I want it on a wall bigger with frames underneath it.
I have always love the quote "Use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without."

"I know the scriptures are true"

"Time on your knees is never time wasted"
It can be a reminder to pray, to clean(mopping floors, folding clothes), or to play with your little ones.

I love the Mothers of boys work from son up to son down. Hello, I have two. :)
I also love your quote of Boring women have Immaculate Homes. I guess I am never going to be boring. :)
There is also a poem that I just love, I cannot remember it exactly. Something about babies, cobwebs can wait, babies are growing.... I will have to find it if I win. :)
'Motherhood is like being pecked to death by a chicken'
'I never said it'd be easy, I only said it'd be worth it'
"So frequently we mistakenly believe that our children need more things, when in reality their silent pleadings are simply for more of our time."
-Thomas S. Monson
"Always kiss me goodnight"

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure".
I like the mothers of boys one too.
"life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away"
"Don't stand in someone else's shadow when it's your sunlight that should lead the way."

You may not always end up where you thought you were going, But you will always end up where you were meant to be.

The World's gonna give us a million reasons this won't work, but all we need is one good reason why it will

Having someplace to go is home, having someone to love is family, having both is a blessing.

(I also love the quote above... "motherhood is like being pecked to death by chickens". SO TRUE!)

"Happily Ever After Happens One Day at a Time!"
This is such truth to me, because so many people think that Happily Ever After happens right as the wedding ends. And this is not true. Happily Ever After comes a little with each day, with each load of laundry, with each diaper change, with each kiss goodnight, and with years of Faith, Trust, and Love!

"Lord please grant me the patience to deal with my blessings"
"When you judge another, you do not define them, you define yourself" -Dyer
I am so completely inspired by Audrey Hepburn...
So, here ya go.
"I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls."
-Audrey Hepburn
and this one too...
"For Attractive lips, speak words of kindness.
For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people.
For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry.
For beautiful hair, let a child run their fingers through it once a day.
For poise, walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone. "
- Audrey Hepburn
and last, but certainly not least...
"Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind."
— Dr. Seuss
OOOO what a fun give-a-way!
This is something my dad always said to me growing up, when I was being dramatic, or thought someone offended me, or really most anything...and it has really been a great thing for me to remember throughout my life.
"So what"
Seems so simple, but really rang true to me in a lot of situations in my life.
I think this quote was by Boyd K. PAcker????? Not sure, but in a talk he gave, he said this,
"Each day on earth, can bring a little bit of heaven."
And I have always liked that, mainly because it encourages me to look for the good in anything and everything we do each day!
"Together, the best place to be."
I don't know where this quote came from, but I have heard it a lot, and I really like it. It is so true that it is the best place to be.
"I never knew how much my heart could hold, until I heard her call me Momma."
This is very much how I feel about my little curly-hair daughter!
"Cherish the little things. For one day you will look back and realize they were the big things."
I alwas thought this would be the perfect quote to put by a picture of my baby sleeping. Or a picture of playing plado, or swinging together on the swing.
