Chalkboard Magnets

Chalkboard vinyl with a magnetic backing makes for some more fridge fun.

Let your hubs know you noticed and appreciated his good deed...

Or, get the kids all pumped and excited for dinner

only to crush their hearts when you make grilled cheese because the day was just too crazy...

Good thing these chalkboards are erasable.

Chalkboard Vinyl

I created this little set of chalkboards awhile ago with chalkboard vinyl.

I have been on the hunt for chalk markers to use with it and have had a difficult time finding something.

Regular chalk works just fine, but the markers have a finer tip.

I even checked the craft stores while we were in Utah a couple of weeks ago

and got nothing but strange looks from the sales associates.

You want to know where I finally found the markers?

At our local Michaels.  I was browsing the paint section and saw them.

Turns out they were not in the chalk section like I thought they would be.

As much as I love the chalkboard pens...

I probably love these hinges even more.

I found them at a hardware store in a discontinued bin.

The chalk ink wipes right off the chalkboard vinyl with a wet rag.

You can see I wasn't patient enough to let it dry before I wrote on it again.

I'll be sharing more chalkboard projects this week.
