Countdown Blocks with Chalkboard

I like to apply the K.I.S.S. principle to my life.

Keep It Simple ~~Stupid~~ Silly

I love countdown blocks and how adorable they are with all the cute scrapbook paper

that corresponds to the holiday you are counting down.

But I don't like storing holiday decorations.

So, why not make one super cute countdown that you can change for each holiday?

I stacked the blocks a little differently and then used chalkboard vinyl on the bottom block.

Now I can countdown whatever I want, whenever I want.

I thought my son might like this one.

He's working on numbers and what mom doesn't celebrate bedtime?

The arrival of a new baby is always exciting,

but who wants to be reminded just how many days it takes to grow a baby?

With the chalkboard vinyl, you can countdown the months,

then as things progress, the weeks, then the days and maybe even the impending hours.

Might keep your mind off the contractions.

And if you are left with nothing to countdown,

why not celebrate life?
